Apollo here! As you can tell from that second photo where I am proudly throwing my wing up in the air, I am a bit of a showstopper. Whenever someone asks "How big are your wings?", I flap them wide open just to hear everyone cheer.

I am a three-year-old Blue and Gold Macaw with a huge heart and a very goofy personality. Despite my size, I am remarkably gentle. I step up onto hands or arms very carefully, and when you hand me a walnut or an apple slice, I take it with the softest beak touch imaginable.

My daily routine includes chatting with anyone nearby, saying "Hello Apollo!", "Good boy!", and laughing along with whatever funny video is playing on the TV. When playtime is over and we are just relaxing on the green fleece blanket, I love leaning my head right against your hand so you can give me slow scratches behind my neck.
