Bella

About Bella

Hi! My name is Bella! I came into rescue with my brother Archie who I still live with! I was utterly terrified of everything! Scared of your own shadow is putting it lightly! I used to bolt directly to my kennel & lay in there regardless of available “seating” in the house. Everyone was really patient & loving here so I started hanging outside of the kennel & eventually I decided that couch with all those people & animals (there is a lot of people & animals here too!!) looked far better then any kennel! Now I beeline to that couch & hop up to snuggle with everyone any chance I get! They were really patient & I just needed that as I’ve never felt safe in my life until now. They tell me all the time how proud of me they are!

I love to run around in the backyard with the other dogs, but I’m a master snuggle butt too & I’m thrilled with that option. I like all the people here & I also pay no attention to the kitties that live here either so we co-exist happily.

I am potty trained & kennel trained along with sleeping through the night. My foster mom plays white noise for us at night. I’m not a big talker & rarely bark, but if I do I have a howl like a hound which was quite a surprise for my family considering I do not look like any hound they have ever seen!

If you wouldn’t mind being patient with me & allowing me to join your family at my own pace, I promise I would make the perfect new best friend for you!!
