Dash

About Dash

Dash is a loving and loyal tripod. He had his front right leg amputation in April 2026, and he’s adapted quite well. He loves to cuddle with people on the couch.

He enjoys going for walks and resting in the shade outside watching the world. Dash is potty trained and does not mark indoors. He gets along well with the resident female chihuahuas.

While Dash does not prefer the crate, but he will settle down in it. He has done excellent being left unattended or home alone.

Dash has some reactivity to visitors and strangers. He will require a family or person that is willing to work with him on his reactivity. He has shown mixed reactions to meeting new dogs (from unbothered to curious to reactive). Slow intros are best with dogs and visitors. Dash is highly treat motivated. It’s only been about 5 months since he left the stray life so he’s still learning many new things!!
