Grogu

About Grogu

Grogu is a total ball of pent up energy! He wants to climb up you to get as close as absolutely possible! A car pulls in the driveway or parks at the neighbors and he wants to high-tail-it into the house after running and jumping on you to alert you of the emergency.

He will occupy himself quietly in his crate, or when gated in the hallway, but really prefers if you are near. If no one else is moving in the house, he goes to sleep in his crate after just a few minutes of whining protest.

He's very much puppy-ish. Still "mouthy", but is learning quickly that all the attention stops if he does that. He likes to jump on everyone, 4 and 2 legged alike. He's picking up on social cues concerning that very quickly, and has been hesitating before bouncing. He does not seem to recognize any standard training commands yet. He ducks when you reach for him, so either there may have been abuse in his past or he's just really cautious and untrusting.

Bathtime was very entertaining. By the 2nd round of shampooing he calmed quite a bit. He realized the water was nice and he loved being rubbed all over. Getting toweled off was like a day at the spa for him. He did great while getting his ears cleaned and leaned in while getting them rubbed.

He's great with the cats! Sniffs and continues on his way, backs off if hissed or swatted at, and will sleep right next to them.

He's going to make someone a fantastic forever fur-baby in the near future.
