About Gushers
Gushers is a mixed-breed male puppy with some pretty strong German Shepherd looks and personality! This handsome little guy came into rescue on the shy side, but he’s discovering that the world isn’t quite so scary after all. Every day, he’s growing a little braver, a little bolder, and a whole lot more curious!
Gushers is good with dogs of all sizes, although those big, booming barks can still send him looking for a safe place to hide. He’s a sensitive soul who just needs a little patience, encouragement, and time to figure things out. And when that curiosity kicks in? That’s when the fun begins!
One of his most adorable features is his ears. Seriously, those things have a mind of their own! They swivel in different directions like furry little antennae, and the expressions he makes while trying to figure out the world around him are absolutely priceless.
Like any growing puppy, Gushers has a list of favorite things: toys, bones, cozy blankets, yummy food, and lots of fresh water. He’s working on mastering the stairs, loves playing under the bed, and is just getting started with potty training both outdoors and on potty pads.
Gushers and his sibling have begun to sleep in their own crates at night and can go about six hours before really needing a potty break to keep their beds clean. When he’s ready to come out, he lets you know! In fact, for being a little shy at times, he’s surprisingly the most vocal of his siblings. Apparently, he has plenty to say once he feels comfortable! We take that as a win!
Gushers will need a family willing to let him blossom at his own pace. A patient, loving home that celebrates the little victories will help him continue building confidence and discovering just how wonderful life can be. Another confident, friendly dog could be a great companion for him, provided introductions and interactions are a good fit.
If you have room in your heart for a sweet boy who just needs a little time to shine, Gushers might be your perfect match!
He’s got the ears, he’s got the personality, and he’s got a whole lot of sweetness waiting to burst out.
