About Jasper

My name is Jasper. I am a four-year-old Green-Winged Macaw, which basically means I have the wingspan of an eagle and the personality of an oversized golden retriever. I do not nip or throw fits. My absolute favorite thing in the world is resting my heavy head against your shoulder and closing my eyes while you rub behind my ears.

I do talk a bit, but mostly I just love to laugh. If you drop a spoon or start laughing at something funny, I immediately join in with a loud, ridiculous belly laugh that gets the whole room going. When you offer me food, I take pieces of walnut or sweet grapes so delicately from your fingertips you barely even feel my beak touch your skin.

I am looking for a person or family who has space for a big guy and wants a giant red shadow to hang out with while cooking, watching movies, or just chilling around the house. If you want a genuine sweetheart of a bird, send in an application and let's meet!
