Hey everyone, Koko here! Yes, that is me hanging out on my foster dad's arm in the photos. I am about two and a half years old, and honestly, I just love being around people.

I am a pretty chill guy once I get settled in. Most mornings, I will greet you with a happy whistle and a quiet "Good morning". My favorite trick right now is copying the microwave beep right before food is done. It fools my foster family every single day and makes everyone laugh!

Stepping up is second nature to me. Just hold out your wrist or hand, and I hop right up with zero hesitation. I am very gentle with my beak, especially when taking treats like cracked walnuts or a little piece of apple from your fingers. When we are relaxing on the couch in the evening, I will happily sit on your shoulder or arm for hours. If you start scratching around my neck, I will tilt my head sideways and close my eyes in pure bliss.

I came into rescue because my previous human had to move into assisted living where pets were not allowed. It was a tough goodbye, but my foster home has taken great care of me, and now I am ready to find my forever person.

I have a clean bill of health from the avian vet and my closed leg band is in place. Because my lungs are sensitive like all parrots, I just need a smoke-free home without scented candles or non-stick Teflon pans.
