Lorraine

About Lorraine

Lorraine is a beautiful, fun loving youngster who remains fearful of unfamiliar sounds, and sudden movements. She can be a rascal when she feels comfortable and confident as far as checking out what’s on the kitchen counter that may be tasty.

She walks well on a leash as long as her person is alert for squirrels!!

She loves to sit patiently and watch out the window for squirrels. She is not a barker even with those hound dog ears.

Lorraine would do best with another dog in the family to help her feel safe and show her the ropes, and she would benefit from having a fenced in backyard. She enjoys playing chase with any dog willing to run fast, and she likes to wrestle (very quietly) with the foster family’s cattle dog.

She’s not been around cats or young kids. Pretty sure she would appreciate the more predictable movements of adolescents.

Lorraine can be quite willful when it comes to going in her crate, or putting on her collar to go for a walk. She’s very food motivated so she would thrive in a beginning level obedience class.

She’s a beautiful dog looking for someone who works from home so she doesn’t have to spend a great deal of time in her crate. She sleeps quietly on her own bed next to her foster parents.

Lorraine has faced a truckload of traumas and daunting challenges in her short life. She’s waiting for the right person or family to envelope her with care, structure, and love to help her become her best self. She’s soooo worth the investment of time and energy!
