Major

About Major

Major here, and that first photo of me hanging off the fence like an acrobat basically proves that I never miss an opportunity to show off.

I am a three-and-a-half-year-old Buffon's Macaw, which means I have a massive frame, bright lime green feathers, and this fluffy red patch on my forehead that makes me look like I am wearing a tiny red hat. If you look at the third picture, you can see how much I love running around in the grass outside and chasing after toy balls like a puppy.

Despite my big size, I am very gentle and love being around my people. I step up onto arms smoothly, take cracked nuts and apple slices from your fingers without any roughness, and I love bowing my head right into your chest when I am in the mood for neck scratches.

I just need a family with plenty of space who will let me play, climb around, and hang out with the household every day. If you want a rare, playful green giant who will always keep you laughing, send in an application for me!
