Poopsie

About Poopsie

Yes, my name really is Poopsie, and that second photo of me staring right down the lens should tell you everything you need to know about how curious I am!

I am a two-year-old Rainbow Lorikeet with about ten different colors on my feathers and enough goofy energy to keep you entertained all day. Lorikeets are not like other parrots: we do not crack seeds, we eat sweet nectar and fresh fruit like grapes, watermelon, and blueberries with our funny little brush-tipped tongues.

I am totally hand-tame and love hanging out on hands or shoulders wherever you go. My favorite party trick is doing little energetic hops across the table, hanging upside down like a little bat, and making cute clicking and whistling sounds when someone brings out a cup of sweet fruit puree.

I am healthy, active, banded, and looking for someone who loves bright, bouncy birds and does not mind a little clown bouncing around the living room. If you want a feathered rainbow in your life, put in an application for me!
