I am Skittles, and that second picture of me staring right into the lens upside-down pretty much sums up my entire personality. I am an 11-month-old Pineapple Conure, and I think life is basically one giant playground.

If you are looking for a bird that just sits in a cage, I am definitely not your guy. I want to be right where the action is. I step up on hands automatically, run up shirts to sit on shoulders, and if you leave a hoodie on, do not be surprised when I crawl inside the pocket and poke my head out to watch TV with you.

I am super gentle with my beak and love getting scratches right along my cheeks until I get so relaxed my eyes close. I also do this funny little conure strut across the table when I see you peeling an apple or holding a sunflower seed. Noise-wise, I am very quiet, mostly just cute little squeaks and low mutterings when I am content.
