Hey there, Mango here! I am a one-year-old Pineapple Green-Cheeked Conure, and if you are looking for a pocket-sized cuddle bug, you just found her!

I have the classic conure clown personality. One minute I am rolling onto my back to play with a small wooden foot toy, and the next minute I am tucking myself right under your chin or inside your hoodie pocket for an afternoon nap. I am fully hand-tame, step up instantly onto any finger, and my favorite thing in the universe is getting gentle pin-feather preens around my cheeks and neck. When you hit the sweet spot, I just lean right into your fingers with pure joy.

Unlike the larger screamers, green-cheeked conures are very manageable in apartments. I mostly just make cute little grunts, soft peeps, and funny low chuckles when I am excited to see you open the treat container. A little piece of dried papaya or a sunflower seed makes my whole day!

I am in great shape, very active, fully banded with my silver leg ring, and eating a healthy mix of pellets and fresh veggies. Like all parrots, I just need a smoke-free home with zero scented candles or non-stick Teflon pans.
