About Norman
Hi, I'm Norman! My foster mom scooped me up when she heard how I came in to rescue.. I was hanging around the hospital, trying to find some food, when some big dogs came at me and chased me away. Luckily a nice lady who worked there came to help me. I've adjusted to the good life in my foster home really well. There are three other pups here, which I absolutely LOVE! I am learning a lot from the older ones, and I just love to play with the other puppy. My foster mom says my play style is somewhat rough, but I prefer to call it exuberant.
I'm an energetic guy who is always up for an adventure! I am very food motivated and happy to have any snack - even the healthy ones! I eat and sleep in my crate, and occasionally my foster mom will find my hanging out in there by choice! My foster mom tells me her favorite thing about me is my ears, because they are a good mix of floppy and standing up. If you think we might be a good fit, apply to meet me! My foster mom would be happy to tell you all about me!
From my foster mom: Chat GPT estimates that he will be around 50 lbs fully grown, so if you are looking for a pup with the looks of a big dog, but on the smaller side, Norman is for you! I think he would do best in a home with another dog! Both for his happiness, and to allow him to burn some of his boundless energy off easily. He has lived with small children before, and his energy level and love for play chomping did not work out well. He is very sweet and gentle with children when meeting them, but it may be best for him to go to a home with older children only. I am hoping he grows out of some of that, but only time will tell! Norman is a great dog and will be perfect for someone who is very active. When he finally settles down he is a great snuggler!
