About Maple

Sweet Maple has been with us since she was 4-weeks-old. She came in with her mom (pictured with her) and 6 siblings, who have all be long since adopted. For some reason Maple sits and waits.

She started out going to the same events as her siblings, and got no interest. She was posted online everywhere, and got no interest.

We stopped attending events due to Maple being very shut down at them. We tried again once she was old enough to be on leash and outdoor events started; however, she was still very anxious and had a really hard time warming up to people.

Maple at home is an entirely different story. She warms up to people so fast, especially if you have treats, and a doggie friend for her to play with.

Maple is a very cautious girl, around people and will require another dog in the home for her to buddy up with. She is great with all sizes of dogs, and she loves cats as well. She does very well with kids too! She loves to be chased by them in the yard. Her favorite game is "chase me." She does okay on a leash, but would definitely do much better, and adjust so much easier, to a home with a fenced in yard.

At this point I could write a book about this sweet little devil, but I will wrap it but by saying she has some quirks and she will need to be on medication the rest of her life for urinary incontinence, but you won't find a better dog that can make you feel every emotion in one day, lol.

We truly love her and we know her perfect family will find her.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

AdoptPet Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
