Hi, I am Kiwi! That is me chilling on the comfy couch pillow in the pictures. I am about a year and a half old, and I am a sweet little Brown-Headed Parrot looking for my new best friend.

If you live in an apartment or just prefer a quiet home, I am pretty much your dream companion. Unlike many louder parrots, my species is known for being super calm and soft-spoken. I mostly communicate with gentle little chirps, happy clicks, and cute whistles when I see my favorite people walk into the room.

I am completely hand-tame and step right up onto your finger whenever you ask. My absolute favorite pastime is hanging out on your shoulder while you read, work on the computer, or relax on the sofa. If you reach over and give me gentle scratches right on the back of my neck, I will melt right into your hand. I am very gentle with my beak and take safflower seeds and apple slices with utmost care.

I have a clean bill of health, both of my ID bands in place, and a hearty appetite for healthy pellets and fresh greens. Like all birds, I just need a safe, smoke-free home without scented candles, sprays, or non-stick cookware.
