Hi everyone, I am Daisy! I am a one-year-old female budgie with the prettiest pastel yellow face and soft cream feathers.

If you know budgies, you know most of them can be a little shy, but not me! I am completely hand-tame. You just gently offer your finger, and I step right up without any fuss. I love perching on fingers, exploring on your shoulder, or hanging out close by while you work or study.

My voice is very gentle. I do not scream or make loud noises, just cute little chattering chirps and musical trills, especially when morning sunlight comes through the window or when soft music is playing. My absolute favorite treat in the world is spray millet. If you hold a sprig of millet in your hand, we will instantly be best friends forever.

My foster home has been wonderful, giving me lots of out-of-cage time, and now I am hoping to find my forever family.

I have a clean bill of health, bright alert eyes, and a great appetite for healthy seeds, pellets, and fresh greens like chopped spinach and broccoli. Like all pet birds, my little lungs require a safe, smoke-free home without scented candles, sprays, or non-stick Teflon cookware.
